Barcelona, 1927. There are only a few hours left before Margarita Xirgu premieres 'Mariana Pineda' by the unknown Federico García Lorca. The authorities threaten her with prison or exile if she performs this libertarian play. It seems that nothing will dissuade Margarita until her friend and mentor Valle Inclán also argues against it.
